PostCoder Batch is an address cleaning and validation software product. It uses our advanced address matching engine with PAF® data from Royal Mail to identify which records in your customer databases are postally correct. The addresses that are not postally correct can then be amended automatically and updated to your database. Alternatively you can choose to show the suggested changes in a file and edit any as required before adding them back. PostCoder Batch will also de-duplicate entries. - Avoid mailing the same customer multiple times With the deduplication available in the Windows version of PostCoder Batch you can remove any additional copies of addresses on your database, ensuring that all your customer are only contacted once when you send out mailings.
- No data preparation is required PostCoder® will work with addresses from your address database exactly as they are. It will allow for both missing and unnecessary address elements, spelling errors, address lines run together and incorrect or missing Postcodes.
- Your data will be reliable Using PostCoder Batch, which matches your address database against Royal Mail's PAF® (Postcode Address File) data at premise level, will ensure that the addresses on your customer database remain Postally correct. We will update your data every quarter as standard, or more frequently if required.
- Your data will be consistent PostCoder Batch allows YOU to choose how you want to format your database, which fields you require and which address elements go in them. You can clean multiple databases using the same formatting option and you will have cross-company consistency, which allows easy sharing, merging and analysis of data.
- Cost effective licencing options EITHER include full Postzon if you want to use geographic information with your data (such as grid references or Ward names/codes), OR save on licence fees by choosing not to include the Postzon licence (Windows version only).
- Try before you buy EITHER take our 21 day trial CD which allows you to try out PostCoder Batch at your leisure on your own data. Output in the trial version is limited but you can view the first few results and get full reports on the rest (Windows version only) OR send us your data and we will run up to 200 records through for you as a sample clean and return it to you with full matching reports.
- Technical Support and at least quarterly updates of PAF® data are included. Customer Service is at the end of a telephone line with no automated answer machine service. All of our products have been quality tested and checked by us.
